A few things
worth knowing.

Do I need to replace my spreadsheets?

No. Copy the orders you already work with and paste them into LaneHelm. You can also import customer and carrier rate sheets from Excel or CSV.

Where do the rates come from?

From the customer and carrier rates you register in your workspace. LaneHelm compares those rates; it does not promise live market prices or access to a public carrier marketplace.

Is my company’s workspace separate?

Yes. Each company gets its own LaneHelm app and database, separate from other companies using LaneHelm. Your registered rates and saved work stay in your company’s environment.

Do we need to manage servers?

No. With managed hosting, LaneHelm handles setup and application updates. Your team uses the app in a browser. We agree the hosting and support scope with you before setup.

Who controls our team’s access?

Your company administrator manages staff accounts and their permissions. Staff use the features their roles allow. LaneHelm uses a separate, named operator account for administration and support.

How do we know what we’ll pay?

Before setup, we confirm your subscription price, included users and usage, hosting and support, and the price of any optional extras. If your needs grow, we discuss the scope and cost of an upgrade with you before you commit.

Can I reuse a customer's or carrier's format?

Yes. Save that party’s column layout to your account. When a later sheet has matching headers, LaneHelm can apply those connections again, including on another device.

Can I check the numbers before using them?

Yes. Review and edit pasted data before importing it, then check the rate details, currency, units and charges before making a quote.
